2011 CONFERENCE IN KAMPALA ORGANISED BY BITTEN, HILDE, ELLEN AND JOAN
Women Can Do it Forum July 2011 in collaboration and support from Bitten Schei Mother Courage and, Partner for KERWDA, the Norwegian MP Hilde Magnusson and partner of women Can Do it, Allen Krageberg Norwegian and partner of Women Can Do it, Joana Sitenda KERWDA Coordinator, the Youth from a nearby school, Flora Kabibi & Princess Pauline Nassolo Ugandans from State House and Ambassador for Women can Do it and Princess Kabakumba Lwabwoni Masiko the Minster in-charge of president’s office. All representative leaders from grass root registered their personal details and names of their organizations.
A series of activities presented included interactive discussions with stakeholders, meetings with the minster, women grass root leaders and Community leaders. Foe example, Health issues-HIV /AIDS, Gender –Violence and women living under poverty base line. Increasing awareness on maternal health issues, cancer diseases and sexual /abuse.
